Soco Amaretto Lime.

Do you think God purposely gives us happiness and then takes it away? Maybe that's bad phrasing... Do you believe there is a logical reason we are extremely happy one minute and the next we have basically nothing? ... I mean, I guess it's a test of faith... but there's only so much one person can take. Maybe I'm reading too much into this. All I know is that whoever said "it takes time" was lying. It's been two years, is that not enough?

Today wasn't that great at all.
And I wish I had some polaroid film for my new cool cam. :(

Can you imagine a world with no trials? A world where everything always works out as planned? Where people--all people--are always happy and there isn't a dread in the world? There is no war. There is no rape. There is no murder. There is no bad. No tears. No drama. No anger. No sadness. No illness. No death.

Can you imagine that utopia? We have been blessed with so much in this world, but when we're faced with trials or bad experiences of any kind, we fail to see the good and focus on the bad. I say "we" here because I know I am guilty of doing the same thing. What we fail to realize sometimes is to know and appreciate happiness, we must know sadness. To know and appreciate peace, we must know war. To know and appreciate calm, we must know anger. It's a part of life that allows the "better" parts to be "better" and more enjoyable and appreciated. It makes those precious moments of happiness and joy all the more valuable. In a world where all we see is happiness, we'd fail to appreciate the happiness we'd be blessed with, unfortunately. That's why God gives us a hard time sometimes: so that we can learn and remember--for we have pretty short attention spans at times--to appreciate the good with which we have been blessed.

Sorry about the rant. Calculus time:)
